This blog is a mixture of comments on current affairs plus a tiny smidgeon of original writing. It’s basically my way of shouting out loud and warming up for my work.

I grew up in post war Germany, felt drawn to California, and ended up in Silicon Valley at the beginning of the boom. My tech career took me through engineering, marketing, and business management in semiconductors at their infancy, computers (minis, PCs, mobile,) online, and now personal technologies.
